Gathering Updates
As time continues to pass, we are encouraged by the opportunities that we have had to reconnect with one another and continue to engage in Gospel ministry. God continues to work in our midst, and we are so thankful for his faithfulness.
We want to communicate our updated gathering protocols in light of this week's changes to the local health orders. In sharing these, our hope has always been to walk in godly wisdom. We desire to care for both each other and our community well, while showing grace toward one another through it all. We are encouraged by the opportunity that more of our body has had to gather together. We pray for all of our church family to be able to regather very soon. Gathering together is so central to our faith and growth in Christ. We do not want to neglect to meet together but to "encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
Here is what to expect beginning Sunday, June 6:
WORSHIP SERVICES
Our capacity limits lifted and, therefore, will no longer require registration for Sunday Services.
Masks are no longer required. They are recommended by the CDC for those who have not been vaccinated.
For now, both side sections are reserved for those who desire to continue to mask and social distance. Please wear a mask in the side sections and try to be conscious of where you sit to leave as much room for others as needed. You are certainly still able to sit in the center section while masking.
Coffee will resume later in the summer! We'll let you know when that starts. (If you would like to help with coffee prep, please let us know!)
At some point, we may move to only streaming one service, but for June, we will continue to livestream both as we evaluate the need.
KIDCITY
For now, KidCity volunteers will continue to mask while serving in the classrooms. We will be evaluating this throughout the summer and updating families with any changes.
Kids will not be required to mask. Instead, we are allowing parents to decide for their children. Please consult current CDC and local guidelines for guidance.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. We know that we are coming from a variety of perspectives and levels of comfort. Nevertheless, we unite in the name of Jesus Christ and always look to Him for our hope.
Please let us know how we can be caring and praying for you. We understand that this continues to be a challenging time for many. We desire never to stop walking with each other. Let's build up the body of Christ together and continue to carry the hope of the Gospel to those around us.
